Erik Muttersbach
Founder
Erik is a serial technology entrepreneur focused on logistics and AI. As Co-Founder and Chief Product & Technology Officer at Forto, he helped scale the company from a startup to a global digital freight forwarder with over 1,000 employees.
He led the development of Forto’s product, engineering,and data/ML organization. During his tenure, Forto secured over $500M in funding. Prior to his work in logistics, he founded a Big Data infrastructure company and served as CTO of a retail internet venture, which was later acquired by Google.
He holds a degree in Computer Science from the Technical University of Munich (TUM) and is an alumnus of the prestigious Center for Digital Technology & Management (CDTM).
Erik is passionate about politics, sailing and spending time in nature and with his wife and two daughters. Other than that he geeks out on fixing the private wifi set-ups of his friends.
