He spent seven years at McKinsey & Company, working primarily in transportation and logistics. He then joined Forto, where he spent another seven years, most recently as Chief Commercial Officer. During his time at Forto, Fabian was an integral part of the company’s go-to-market, growth, and business development efforts, helping scale the business from serving small e-commerce shippers in Germany to operating across multiple countries in Europe and Asia and working with increasingly large enterprise customers.

Fabian holds a background in Business & Engineering from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and earned a PhD in Business Administration from the University of Passau.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, playing tennis, and watching soccer. He is an avid reader with interests ranging from psychology and neuroscience to astrophysics.
