Ayoub works on improving Zauber’s core intelligence, and touches anything across the stack to make that happen.
Before Zauber, he spent 6 years at Google, working across software engineering, infra, and applied AI. In 2021, he joined a small team in Google’s Munich offices experimenting with ML-powered coding tools. During the 4 years that followed, he got first row seats experiencing one of the biggest transformations software has ever seen, building code completion models, semantic code search, and coding/review agents used by tens of thousands of engineers within the company. He joined Zauber to help bring similar productivity gains to one of the pillars of our global economy, logistics.
Ayoub has been around computers since he was a kid. He discovered computer science as a discipline in university. Suddenly being able to explain the intuition he’d built around computers was addictive. Many years later, he’s still addicted to learning about novel techniques, algorithms, and optimizations that make the tech around us tick. He loves tackling hard problems, especially those that solve real-life problems.
Outside of tech, Ayoub is a self-taught musician who loves to dabble in different instruments and genres, sometimes finishing the gazillion musical projects he has in mind (Soundcloud, YouTube). He’s an avid football fan, always up for a 5-a-side, and never misses any Real Madrid game.
